Volunteers
Rose of Durham Young Parents Support Services is a non profit organization whose mission is to serve expecting/parenting young people and their children who reside in the Durham Region.
It was through the dedication and perseverance of our volunteers that Rose of Durham has grown to be the fully staffed agency that we are today. Currently our most active and challenging volunteer positions are related to committee work including fundraising. These ‘behind the scenes’ groups are our back bone, the people who keep us going and funded.
Within the agency itself we have occasional childcare positions available. Volunteers look after children while their parents attend a 4-8 week program. These programs generally run during our office hours, 9:00 – 4:30, however, certain groups can run as late as 6:30.
