Rose of Durham would like to thank Mr. Bill Caukwell, owner to ‘Maple Leaf Billiards’ for his continued support in recognition of his donation of $611.00 representing the proceeds from his Third Annual Tournament of Roses held on December 6, 2008. Bill has been in the business world for many years. Not only is Bill a great sales person who treats his customers the way he wants to be treated, he is also a positive role model for giving back to his community. 15th Annual Victorian Tea
The Rose of Durham held it’s 15th Annual Victorian Tea on November 18, 2008. The baskets were amazing, the room was full, and the bids were in full swing. Rose of Durham raised over $20,000.00 and extends a sincere thank you to all the volunteers, organizers, donors, supporters, and guests who continue year after year to make this a successful event.
